Poetry is a language Of powerful thoughts and imagery, it can strike in the heart of man, it can shape lives and actions. Then can it not be used to enhance to the finder qualities of man? Rather than providing shallow enjoyment? And promoting the baser instincts? If I was a poet, I would like my words To compell the soul, To pursue the true pupose of existence. Oh, what wouldn’t I give to go on collecting my reward, Beyond this life....

In Search of You…*

16-08-05

Where will I find you?
A human yet almost perfect?
That every part of you is admirable?
Every manner of yours is worthy of imitation?
Every character of yours scented with goodness?

You’re not a Prophet of God,
But the next best thing, likely heirs.

Why must you only live in fiction?
Why not show your living face?
Impose your sure footsteps in the passage of time,
And inspire the hoards gone astray?
Rescue the oppressed, punish the oppressor?

When will you come to light with your noble mission?
Like a beacon of light,
Showing the Prophets way, discarded by humanity,
Installing it in a practical foundation
Reviving Islam and Muslims once again?

salam, i love this poem. you know, i've been reading saimum a lot these past couple of days. and thats just how i feel. i love it. its a good escape from reality. where ahmed musa always comes to save the muslims whenever they are in trouble. where you see a person with such strong imaan. where all the muslims are ready to change their ways, and turn to Allah. hope these days turns from fiction to reality someday.

we have 1-37, but missing 10 of them i think. so i dont know the whole story. majhe majhe kono ghotonar sheshdik tai jante parina. one time i read 28-32. then 5-9, then 11-15. anyways, i would really like to get the missing books. yesterday, we went to a bengali store in detroit (another city), that uncle said that he will get me all the missing ones, and the latest ones. i am so happy. i never got to find out what happened to mailyguli and how she died, or how he got married to dona. anyways, cant wait till i get the missing ones.

yes, mailyguli died I think it was episode 14 or 15. It was so sad! I alsmost cried! Donna and Ahmed Musa have a baby son; his name is Ahmed Abdulillah. Ahmed Musa hasn't seen him yet; you know how he's all over the world with is mission; never at home...

you cry too much...but its true...they're very sad...any female that is romantically involved with Ahmed Musa must die! (author's decree). Did you know in the opinions page, one reader sugessted that the author kill Donna and Ahmed Abdullah...accoding to that reader, they're just complications for Ahmed Musa. Can you belive the cruelty of some people!?!?!?

a lot of his older books are actually quite good. books like "dipu number 2" "tuku o jhi er pray duhshahoshi obbhijan" are pretty good. they are prolly 14/15 years old. I read a lot of his good books when i was young.. cant remember most of their names. another thing is he mostly writes/used to write for kids/teens so the books deal with childish things and things that only a kid would think about.. this only makes it funnier.
